Article 11 (Art. 11, Law 3471/2006)

What is the Register under Article 11?

Under the provisions of Article 11 of Law 3471/2006, as in force, subscribers are given the right to declare that they do not wish to receive telephone calls involving human intervention for the purposes of commercial promotion or advertising. Subscribers who do not wish to receive such communications may request that their provider register them in a special list (hereinafter the “Register”), in which the relevant subscriber declarations are recorded.

The Register is available to any interested party (legal entity or natural person) who uses telephone communication for advertising purposes. Such party is responsible for obtaining the Register and taking it into account before carrying out any promotional campaign, so that all telephone numbers included therein are excluded from any marketing communications.

Inclusion/Removal from the Register under Article 11

Subscribers of Inalan's telephony services have the option to be included in or removed from the special lists of the Register by choosing one of the following methods:

  1. Call the customer service department at 215 215 22 55 or 13848 (for residential customers) and 210 440 8400 or 13881 (for business customers)
  2. By visiting an Inalan store.
  3. Through Inalan's digital customer service channels on social media.
  4. By sending an e-mail to: info@inalan.gr.

The request sent by e-mail must have the following subject line:

“Inclusion / Removal from Register 11”

The e-mail must include the following subscription details:

  • Full name
  • ID Card Number
  • Contract Number
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN)

In addition, a photocopy of the ID card must be attached and one of the following communication preferences must be declared:

  • (A) Communication only from Inalan
  • (B) Acceptance of communication from third parties for commercial promotion purposes (Removal from the Register)
  • (C) Communication from no one

Clarifications

  1. Your request is recorded by Inalan's Customer Service. However, companies that use telephone communication as an advertising medium are required to seek out and use an updated file.
  2. If the connection ceases to be active on Inalan's network, it is automatically removed from the Register. Likewise, the choice not to receive promotional actions from third parties must be reactivated on our network in the event the connection is transferred from another provider (number portability).
  3. In the event your connection is transferred to a new subscriber, a new choice must be made regarding whether or not the number is to be registered in the Register.
  4. Registering a number in the Register excludes advertising calls to that specific number. This registration means that the subscriber will not be informed of any offers/plans from Inalan. However, it is also possible to register in the Register with an exception for calls from Inalan, so that the subscriber continues to be informed about the company's new services, plans, and offers. In this case, registration in the Register concerns only advertising calls from third parties and does not affect any consent the subscriber has given for communication from Inalan.
